After Baby Pilates Workshop

Spend the afternoon learning how to safely rebuild your core and pelvic floor strength using Pilates and breathwork. In this workshop, you’ll learn proper breathing techniques and simple but effective exercises that will restore your mind-body connection to your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. We’ll also take time to review common issues that can occur post-natally (such as Diastasis and pelvic floor issues) and why and how to modify exercises so you have a solid background from which to approach your postnatal fitness regimen. You'll leave empowered with the tools you need to exercise safely in any situation. All exercises are Diastasis Recti friendly and aid in healing.

  • When: 11am-12:30pm

We’re bringing our ever popular 45 mins of LBB interval sweat and 30 mins of Pilates to Vinotecca in Birmingham and I couldn’t be more excited!! There will be bubbles, community, and awesome raffles and giveaways!! Optional to stay and enjoy brunch at Vinotecca afterwards (brunch not included in ticket price). There is NO better way to spend a Saturday morning and we can’t wait to see you there. Calling all mamas! Kelli and I are excited to announce our first Prenatal Lengthen, Learn + Burn class! This class will be catered specifically to pregnant/ postpartum babes with an emphasis on proper core + pelvic floor activation and safe, effective, challenging exercises that are Diastasis and new mom friendly. We’ll also take some time to review the “why” behind the core activation and exercise modifications so you have a solid background from which to approach your pre or post natal fitness regimen. Format: 20 mins core activations/ belly breathing + learning, 30 mins Pilates, 30 mins LBS style Burn. We hope to see you there!

Jump start your new year with 4 Saturday mornings of full body pilates workouts this January! In this series you'll learn simple but effective exercises to reconnect to your core and pelvic floor muscles to reduce back pain and re-align your body. We'll use breathing techniques and Diastasis Recti friendly exercises that will restore your mind-body connection to your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles along with strengthening and toning your arms, thighs, and booty.


*PLEASE NOTE: class will be suitable for all levels and experience. Even if you've taken pilates at Honey in the past, this class will rock your body mama! All exercises are Diastasis Recti friendly and aid in healing.

  • 4wk class/$80 total ($20 per class)

  • Class dates: 9:30am on 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26

  • Drop ins not available for this series 

  • Childcare is available- $7/hr or a 3 hour package for $20

Pre-Natal Pilates Workshop

Learn proper breathing techniques and muscle strengthening exercises that will make labor and delivery easier. Cultivate a deeper connection to your body to find your intuition and learn to trust yourself and the changes happening to your body. We'll review a simple, no props required exercise routine in addition to guidelines for safe exercise throughout pregnancy,  contraindicated exercises, basic anatomy of the pelvic floor (and how to find and activate it), and optimal pelvic placement for birth.
