Learn proper breathing techniques and muscle strengthening exercises that will make labor and delivery easier. Cultivate a deeper connection to your body to find your intuition and learn to trust yourself and the changes happening to your body. We'll review a simple, no props required exercise routine in addition to guidelines for safe exercise throughout pregnancy, contraindicated exercises, basic anatomy of the pelvic floor (and how to find and activate it), and optimal pelvic placement for birth. In addition, we'll explore how breath can be used for relaxation and gentle abdominal and pelvic floor toning before and shortly after birth.
